Karadantu
Karandantu is one of the special traditional sweets of North Karnataka. It is made with dry fruits which are a rich source of calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, protein, riboflavin, vitamin A-C-E-K-B6 and zinc, promoting healthy bones, muscles, nerves, teeth and skin. They also offer protection from anaemia, heart disease and high cholesterol, and strengthen the immune system.
